The HEAT project is proud to support a special session at the QoMEx conference, where Mario Montagud Climent, Technical Coordinator at HEAT, and Luigi Atzori, Risk and Quality Manager at HEAT, are among the co-organizers, alongside other esteemed experts. This initiative aligns seamlessly with HEAT’s mission of driving innovation and shaping the future of distributed experiences, tackling the critical challenges that transform visionary concepts into reality.
The session will delve into the crucial role of QoE awareness in management procedures, architectures, and models for next-generation networks, exploring how QoE/QoS models and metrics can enhance the management of 5G-Advanced and 6G architectures. Furthermore, it will address cutting-edge management frameworks and architectures, emphasizing collaborative approaches among multiple tenants to optimize service delivery.
In essence, this Special Session aims to gather beyond state-of-the-art and innovative contributions in the fields of networks and networking aspects, strongly aligned with QoE optimization and understanding goals. By bringing together a diverse community of experts, the session will enrich QoMEx in multiple ways, such as attracting members from various technical backgrounds, fostering interdisciplinary discussions that can lead to new collaborations, and raising awareness of the critical role QoE plays in designing network infrastructures for delivering high-quality interactive media services. A key objective of this session is to ensure a well-balanced exchange of insights from both academia and industry, highlighting practical commercial deployments alongside research-driven advancements. By supporting this initiative, HEAT continues to pave the way for next-generation distributed experiences, turning what was once only imaginable into reality.
