HEAT First Consortium Meeting

We are delighted to announce the successful completion of the first consortium meeting, marking a significant milestone in journey of the HEAT project.

The meeting was held on 9th and 10th July 2024 in Cagliari, Italy and was organised by the HEAT coordinator University of Cagliari. The meeting was a robust platform for collaborative dialogue, focusing on various critical aspects essential for the project’s advancement and setting the stage for a productive and collaborative effort.

During the meeting, the partners delved into the organizational and managerial aspects of the project, ensuring a solid foundation for future endeavours. Each work package was meticulously reviewed in terms of the status and forthcoming steps, setting a clear roadmap for the team.

The partners engaged in fruitful discussions covering critical areas of the project, starting with the user requirements and scenarios. These conversations provided valuable insights into what end-users need and the various scenarios the platform will address. The project will feature well-designed and fully tested scenarios in real-world environments, including blended learning sessions, modern theatre acts, music festivals, and opera shows. The discussions extended to the platform architecture, where partners collaboratively discussed the technical components, ensuring it meets future needs. This foundational work sets the stage for robust development and deployment.

The dialogue continued with an in-depth look at pilots and content production. The partners shared innovative ideas to optimize the pilots’ implementation. The evaluation metrics and methodologies were also a focal point, establishing a clear path for measuring the project’s impact. Furthermore, the partners explored various communication, dissemination and exploitation strategies to maximize the project’s reach and impact. These comprehensive discussions have laid a solid groundwork for the project’s success.

Overall, the first consortium meeting was a resounding success, marked by productive discussions and a strong sense of collaboration. We are excited about the journey ahead and confident that with the continued dedication and expertise of our partners, we will achieve our project goals.
