The HEAT project was proudly represented at ACM MMSys 2025, the premier international conference on multimedia systems, held from March 31 to April 4, 2025, in Stellenbosch, South Africa.
As part of its Technical Program, Mario Montagud (i2CAT, University of Valencia), Co-Technical Coordinator of HEAT, had the honor of delivering the opening keynote at both the main MMSys track and the co-located MMVE workshop. Such keynotes were deeply aligned with the HEAT project’s core vision:
- Fostering more accessible and inclusive immersive experiences, and
- Enabling scalable, interoperable, and sustainable holographic communication services.
ACM MMSys provided a vibrant platform to exchange ideas and explore synergies with leading experts from around the globe. These interactions are set to further strengthen our commitment to advancing hybrid eXtended Reality (XR) experiences.
A heartfelt thanks to the organizers for this incredible opportunity!
